Positive Boulder Creek Brewery & Cafe Review:

As a Boulder Creek local, this is a great go-to restaurant for when I can't decide where to go.  I have friends who specifically come over so we can get burgers from the brewery because they're so amazing.
Where the restaurant is lacking is in the attentiveness of the wait staff-it's off and on.  Also, I wouldn't advise getting anything except the burgers, or one of their specials if you feel adventurous.  The burgers are the only consistently well done main  item they make.  So far all of the sides I've tried have been very good, too .  Occasionally their specials will also be really, really good (the artichoke dip rocks!), but it's a gamble.
Therefore, only go if you're really in the mood for a great burger, not if you're looking for fajitas or pasta.

Negative Boulder Creek Brewery & Cafe Review:

I hate to put down a local business but something has definately chaged for the worse here.  It just seems the food is not as fresh as it was in years past, and they have not maintained the appearance of the place.  Just seems very "well used".  Additionally, the brewer has been replaced (some time back) and their selection of house brews is extremely limited compared to what is once was.  At least they now have a hard liquor license and a bartender that pours stiff drinks.  Boulder Creek does not have much to chose from so it is dissapointing that this has gone downhill.

Average Boulder Creek Brewery & Cafe Review:

The Boulder Creek Brewery can have great beers (when brewing) and being a local is a nice option to have at times. The food in general is okay.  I usually stick with the burgers and garlic fries or onion rings. The overall impression is greatly enhanced dependent upon the server (wait staff).  When we go, we specifically hope to be seated in Burke's section. My girls and I have consistently had excellent service and suggestions when he is our waiter. He can even usually talk us into desert.
Other wait staff... Hit or miss.

It is also sometimes a nice place to go when the power is out at home and it is rainy.
