Tony & Albas Capitola - Summary:

(from tonyandalbaspizza.com) - Tony & Alba’s Pizza opened in June of 1982 in Mountain View. Then the Salciccia family took over an existing pizzeria. With only two picnic tables and a brick oven, they set out to define the art of pizza making. The stores are family operated with 3 generations making the same commitment that Tony & Alba had with their first pizza from the first store over 26 years ago.

Tony & Albas Capitola - Reviews:

Positive Tony & Albas Capitola Review:

One of my favorite Pizza joints in the area.

I'd rate the Food a 4.5, service a 3, location 4, and cleanliness a 3.5.

It's a tri level building which adds some visual interest to the place. The lower level is really quiet, middle level is good for a quick bite to eat, and the upper level has a TV and can get kinda loud if there's a game on. Unfortunately my favorite place to sit - the lower level, is often closed. Once it was open, and as I was sitting down I was asked to move because my party wasn't big enough and they wanted to keep it open for unexpected large parties.

There is an older lady that works there that nearly always finds some way to be rude to us, but the rest of the staff is nice.

Negative Tony & Albas Capitola Review:

Used to be the best Pizza in the Bay Area. Now? WAY overpriced, $35 for a large with 2 toppings, VERY skimpy on the toppings, average quality below average service.  Overall taste and quality on or below par with Dominos at more than 3 times the price.

Average Tony & Albas Capitola Review:

The pizza was pretty good but a bit overpriced
I enjoyed the free bread sticks, which are usually fresh

The delivery was top notch!!!
