Positive Wharf House Capitola Review:
I came here to listen to the Nora Cruz band here Sunday and not only was she great but the food I had was wonderful. Not too expensive and not fried, like most of the other food here. I had the baked fish on black beans and a beer. The service was friendly, my server was Bridgette, and not only cute but attentive. I will be back.

Negative Wharf House Capitola Review:
Okay, did not know that I was going to be treated that rudely. The service from the bartender was offensive. I cannot deliver any good words for the restaurant. This would not be a place that I would suggest to go for a good time or good service

Average Wharf House Capitola Review:
I was truly torn about what to give this place. On the one hand- the decor is really cool and the location is awesome. Granted, it is usually quite chilly out here, but the views are amazing. Unless you get seasick, it's also fun to be in a restaurant that moves with the water- although I wouldn't recommend it if you were hungover.
Our server was good, not at the head of the class, but attentive enough.
Here's my issue: The menu says "hearty burger." Hearty burger to me means hamburger that is shaped into patties at the restaurant- full, thick, and juicy. NOT hamburgers that came from Costco in bulk- flat, perfectly round, and overcooked. Medium is not medium well. If I wanted medium well, I would have asked for it. I believe the rest of the family enjoyed their meals (fish and chips, pasta primavera, pesto scallops), but I would avoid the burger. It's just not worth it.
